OUR CHURCH
Brampton Evangelistic Ministry has been established in the city of Brampton since 1992 under the leadership of Bishop Tyrone Escoffery.
We were initially founded under the name Brampton Bible Church of God. In February 2004, the church was incorporated and our name was changed to Brampton Evangelistic Ministry.
Bishop Escoffery is the founder and Senior Pastor, co-pastoring with his wife of over 38 years, Pastor Janet Escoffery, and Associate Pastor Llovelle McKenzie.
Our church has a passion for souls, therefore our mission is to evangelize our community through evangelism outreach. We believe that everyone can be reached if we all touch at least one person at a time. Through our ministries we can do it .
OUR OVERSEERS
Bishop Tyrone Escoffery was born in Kingston, Jamaica.
He accepted Jesus Christ has his Lord and Saviour in 1974.
He migrated to Canada shortly after and became a member of the
Church of God of Prophecy. He is a graduate of the Bible Training
Institute and attended many seminars which helped in preparing
him for the call in the ministry. He was a licensed lay minister in
the above organization.
He became the pastor of The Brampton Bible Church of God in 1990 and
was ordained as a Bishop in 1996.
He is a dynamic preacher that is privileged with the opportunity to minister
at revivals, conventions, seminars and leadership training. In 2002, he was
called to be the founder of Brampton Evangelistic Ministry where he is
presently the Senior Pastor. Bishop Escoffery's vision is to help in pointing
the lost to Christ, to see love manifest more among christians and see unity
in the Body of Christ.
Pastor Janet Escoffery is the co-Pastor of BEM . At the early age of 12
years old, at Assembly Hall Girls Club (Kingston, Jamaica), Pastor Janet
was baptized and became a born again Christian and a member of
the church.
In 1974 she migrated to Toronto, Canada where she became a member of
the Westend Church of God of Prophecy.
Pastor Janet completed the General Bible Knowledge courses and was called to teach courses and graduated at the end of the courses.
Pastor Janet was ordained as a pastor in Brampton Bible Church of God in 1998. A graduate of ROSOTA , she presently is ministering alongside her husband Bishop Tyrone Escoffery at BEM.
Bishop and Pastor Escoffery have a total of seven children, and eleven grandchildren.
